Just installed these gumballs and this gumball light kit. PinGizmos provided extremely clear and useful instructions. It was necessary to file a section of the divide--the little piece of plastic that guides the incoming balls in the gumball machine. This wasn't obvious when I bought the product but the filed section will never be visible, even if I remove the mod.
Getting the gumballs in was a little stressful--it was necessary to repeatedly bend the gumball machine's plastic walls to snap in each ball. No harm done. To get these out I would need to completely disassemble the gumball machine.
And finally, one of the posts supporting the plastic I had to remove unscrewed from the playfield when I thought I was loosening the nylock nut. Oh well, couldn't be helped. It's pretty awkward in there, so I won't be able to replace the plastic until after I find an 8" extension for my 5/16" socket.
